The All’s Eye Delivers Raw Soul and Psychedelic Fire on “Saturday Sessions” EP
New England-based trio The All’s Eye ignites the soul with their latest “Saturday Sessions” EP, a visceral two-track release captured live at Barbershop Studios as part of Emmy-winning producer Matt Rifino’s acclaimed Saturday Sessions series. Featuring Ari Joshua (guitar/vocals), Ben Atkind (drums), and Kris Yunker (organ/vocals), this electrifying performance thrives on raw energy, one-take precision, and analog warmth.
The EP reimagines Ari Joshua originals, “Gramama” and “Say What You Wanna Say,” with fiery trio arrangements blending gospel, psych-rock, jazz, and boogaloo. “Gramama” is a deeply personal tribute to Joshua’s late grandmother, channeling ancestral strength through a spiritual, bluegrass-gospel fusion. Meanwhile, “Say What You Wanna Say” delivers a punchy, improvisational ride originally crafted for a boogaloo session with Skerik and Delvon Lamarr, now reinvented with searing organ swells and fearless guitar flights.
Atkind (of Goose/Elephant Proof) and Yunker (of Bearly Dead) bring dynamic force and groove to the mix, their chemistry with Joshua undeniable. With minimal overdubs and cinematic multi-camera footage, this “Saturday Sessions” EP feels like being in the room, soul-stirring, bold, and completely alive. The All’s Eye proves they’re more than a jam band; they’re a movement in motion.
