Rewind The Mind’s “Come On With Me”: An Unavoidable Jazz-Funk Enticement

The Brighton-based musical collective, Rewind The Mind, is back with a new single titled “Come On With Me,” and it's nothing but bold. The track brings a fusion of jazz sophistication and funk swagger that is part of Rewind The Mind's distinct ability to mix musicianship with groove.

“Come On With Me” oscillates between tight brass lines, deep bass, active percussion, and silky smooth keys, and simulates an open invitation to move, connect, to feel. It captures the hype of an active street jam and the sharpness of a well-rehearsed studio session.

Rewind The Mind demonstrates the blending of complex layers of jazz improvisation over modern, sidechain, repetitive funk beats - not only is it musically striking, it's also emotionally liberating.
