Love Ghost "Car Crash": A Vulnerable Ballad That Hits Hard

Los Angeles alternative rock collective Love Ghost has released a strikingly vulnerable track in their new single "Car Crash", a song that removes the heavier pedestrian bands' music and substitutes raw emotion. Love Ghost is known for their blend of alternative rock, grunge, metal, and pop-punk, but have taken a risk here by moving into minimalism, relying on piano, stunning vocals, and delicate percussion to create a ballad that was somehow intimate and cinematic.

"Car Crash" is an aching and beautiful meditation on the frailty of love in comparing heartbreak to the violent immediacy of an actual collision. The song's lyrics veered from regrettably reflective and wistfully poetic, where the pain was recognizable.

This softer side of the band exposes their versatility and comprises emotional depth that is diametrically the opposite of their usual astonishingly explosive energy.

Love Ghost has already had a significant global impact, having performed on four continents and collaborated with artists all over the place, from Mexico's Wiplash to the UK's The Skinner Brothers to Rico Nasty and SKOLD. In "Car Crash", they bring authentic value to the audience.
