The Virginia artist Ninemansion has reached a milestone with Brand New Weapon. Released on his 20th birthday, the single functions like a personal statement and a work of art. Ninemansion fuses emo-plugg and digicore with modern rap; his music feels distinctively digital while simultaneously confronting the timeless feelings of heartbreak, resilience, and self-discovery.

Brand New Weapon hits hard. The production is layered and organized, balancing hard-hitting percussion with melodic swells that map the push and pull of exercising the bravery to move on.
