In contrast, the guitar work was kept raw, and the album as a whole was allowed to be less than perfect because more truth and more honesty existed in less-than-ideal art.
For sure, tracks like “Dreamscape” and “Giving Up(Is Giving In…)” are the tracks that one immediately thinks of when coming to this kind of music. Each one opens a door leading to loss to enter, and it does so in its unchallenged, unguarded form, something most bands may dare but these guys certainly wouldn't.
