Elliot Bam Channels Frustration and Resilience in “Hungry For More.”

Liverpool-born singer-songwriter Elliot Bam delivers a fiery and passion-fueled debut in “Hungry For More.” A proud gay trans man, Elliot brings both vulnerability and strength into his artistry by melding together alternative rock sounds, a haunting piano palette, and brutally honest lyrics on an energetic track that is as personal as it is relatable.

“Hungry For More” is written about the difficulty of caring for someone who doesn't want to care for themselves. Throughout the song, Elliot builds from a haunting piano setup into an explosive chorus, with electric guitars layered over the growing feelings of frustration, betrayal, heartbreak, and helplessness that come with watching someone you love spiral into self-destructive behavior.

All of which Elliot wrote and produced himself at his home studio in Liverpool. Elliot takes seriously the importance of authenticity and representation, and his song doesn't just explore love, heartbreak, and loss. While his art provides relevant context for all listeners, it captures queer experiences seldom centered in mainstream storytelling, and it also brings to life the nuances of the very real and unique experiences that trans men face within the individuality of relationships, concerning trans identity itself.

After a stand-out performance at Liverpool Pride in the M&S Bank Arena, as well as support from BBC Introducing and the Luis & Lin-Manuel Miranda fellowship, Elliot Bam is showing why he is a fearless new voice in music. “Hungry For More” is both a cathartic anthem and a statement of intent: honest, uncompromising, and hard to forget.
